Emoto's The Secret Life of Water (book)
Hardcover. Pub Date: September 2005
The third book by the author of the best-selling
The Hidden Messages in Water, The Secret Life of Water, concentrates on the
power of prayer. Masaru Emoto's hope is to bring the world closer to peace
through the use of water. In addition to covering the three aspects of
Hado-vibration, resonance and similarity, the most important aspect of Hado is
the "flow" or circulation. Emoto focuses in depth on this aspect and the
consequence of human nature-desire, pride, and idealogy, getting in the way of
this "flow."
The Secret Life of Water talks extensively about
water's ability to show us the answers—how to live happily, the meaning of
loving nature, and the direction we should take. Water can act as a mirror,
and the quality of water is a reflection of our hearts. Mr. Emoto stresses
that the current water situation is serious. The first step toward protecting
the earth and water is to focus on our prayers. Mr. Emoto documents the power
of prayer when people gather together, and documents several experiments which
show this.
For example, in June 1999, 350 people gathered at
Lake Biwa in Japan and prayed for world peace. The water in the lake improved.
Similar experiments also resulted in the formation of beautiful water
crystals. Water shows us visually that our prayers can change the world. Those
who become aware of their role to pray for the betterment of the earth must
take action so that others will also follow. In order to facilitate this, Mr.
Emoto started a project of prayer that occurs on the 25th of each month around
the world. Masaru Emoto is an internationally renowned researcher who gained
worldwide acclaim by showing how water is deeply connected to our individual
and collective consciousness. His message is simple, profound, and
far-reaching.
